As I am sure every single one of you know…in addition to documenting y’all full time I also am a “professional cheerleader” to our young adult special needs community, specifically, Joey. What started as a 6-9 hour a week “job” for me to do while my girls were in school has turned into a full time “job”.

I recently organized and hosted a Pizza Making Class for these individuals and their staff/caregiver. I have another date in March already scheduled and sold out. The feedback I got from some staff and parents was that the price point was slightly high…especially for the staff to make their own pizza. However, we are supporting a local business and I am happy to pay their prices! Shameless plug-Cugino Forno is AMAZING.

Starting in April I will have one day a month {some months there are also At Home Sessions available} two sessions up for grabs for a donation…by offering these I will be able to offer The Pizza Making Class or another community event FREE OF CHARGE to The DIBS AND THEIR STAFF.

As for Disney…Lola is not able to continue with cheer {long story short, her health had to come first} BUT she has expressed interest in volunteering with the Frederick County Special Olympics Cheer team.
